😉 So these guides will be works-in-progress with more information about how to obtain each one and the best places to do so being added as I track that info down. As Rift is new, I obviously haven’t finished all the Achievements…yet.

This guide is Part 1 of a six-part series for the Defiants and a Guardian set is in the works as well. Did I mention some of them also give you Titles? Boo-yah!Īll in all, not only is it fun to hunt them down, the more difficult ones pay off with a higher Achievement score which more noticeably reflects the effort you’ve put into them than having them all be worth 1 point like in WAR. The Achievements are pertinent to your gameplay (from hitting milestone levels to completing dungeons), are scored based on difficulty (from 5 points for a basic one to 100 for completing every Dungeon achievement), and even include the random, zany fun ones that we all know and love (make a bunch of squirrels cry lately? I have). While the Achievement system in Rift doesn’t have the quantity that WAR ‘s Tome had, it makes up for it with quality. It’s fairly well known that the Tome of Knowledge is one of the big things that drew me to WAR originally. While I didn’t really look very deep into Rift before it launched, I assumed it would be like most modern MMOs and have some form of Achievement system that I could dig my teeth into.
